Lake Monroe, Just South of Bloomington Indiana Lake Monroe Reservoir is the site of the Boat Day Thursday, August 11. (Amy & Jeremy lived in a condo at Lake Monroe until the Bloomington house was finished.)

Lake Monroe is just south of Bloomington, Indiana. From Brown County take 46 east to 446, then south. Karst Park is west of Bloomington. Take 45 from 37. Just past Melton's Orchard Market, veer right on Airport Road and you will see Karst Park. Abbey-Inn is located on St. Rd. 46 1 mile west of Nashville, Indiana and 15 miles east of Bloomington, Indiana. Salt Creek Golf Resort is on St. Rd. 46 1 mile east of Nashville and 15 miles west of Columbus and I-65. Airports are: Indianapolis, Indiana, 1 hour 20 minutes away, Cincinnati, Ohio, 2 hours away, Louisville, Kentucky, 90 minutes away.
